It was the Christmas season and the judge was in a merry mood as he asked the prisoner,
"What is your offense?"
"I did my Christmas shopping early this year," cried the prisoner.
"There's nothing wrong with that," said the Judge. "How early were you doing this shopping?"
"Before the store opened," answered the prisoner.
正值圣誕佳節(jié)，法官心情愉悅地審問犯人：
“你犯了什么罪啊？”
“我今年圣誕節(jié)購物早了 一些廣犯人哭泣著說。
“那也不是什么壞事啊，”法官說："那你到底是多早之前啊？
“商店開門之前。”犯人答道。

編后記：
犯人在被法官審問的時候，含糊其詞，說自己只是購物早了點，經(jīng)法官進一步詢問才知道，這個早一點是指比商店開門還早一點，那不就是入室盜竊嘛。看來小偷也有廉恥之心，把自己的偷竊行為說得如此隱晦。
